I like the cartoons (except for the sexism) and have a couple of books of them, but they are very much repeats of some basic themes.

Occasionally to the extreme:

Sold for £36! I thought the auctioneer had misjudged his guide price and that it would do better than that. I think I would have stumped up the £50 postage at that. More for owning a Peyton original than loving the painting - although I do quite like it.

The art world is very up and down at the minute. Plenty of bargains to be had at provincial auctions.
