Evening all, we will be attempting to replace one of the manifold on my mercruiser V8 7.4 this weekend. I have been told this job can be done with the boat still in the water, does anybody know if this is correct?

Any advice on this job is most welcome.

Thanks in advance.

It depends I would measure where the waterline is, In theory you should be ok, just loosen the clips on the hoses between the risers and check for water ingress, maybe if its close ask some nice passers by to sit on the opposite side of the boat.

I can remember clearing props once I had about 20 people sat on the bow, you would be surprised how far the stern came up!
