Just received a useful publication from the EA keeping boaters up to date with whats going on above Allington Lock
Several pages, this is the first.
With all the work and improvements going on down here over past couple of decades, suspect most of the capital works are done and just regular maintainance to do.
Have taken advantage of the power and berths in the cut and hired the Chalets for a weekend.
Mind you did receive a Ntam that one of the gates at Farleigh was jammed open and causing problems.

Anybody thinking of coming round and needing help ?
Mooring at RCC is very reasonable, complete with power and water and good prices in our galley.
We also have our own swans, far superior to anybody elses.
