Oh, I see. It's just partial. My old boat had a second track that went all the way up, parallel to the main track.

I don't think so. It's a quite wide slot, and regular mainsail slugs wouldn't fit.
Anyway I'm OK with ropes and ascenders.

You get those ladders and then you can put any slider you want. They're exchangeable. I mean, if you were to use them that's an option.

Thinking in physics a heavy person at the top of a long mast could be iffy., especially if the boat rolls to the side slightly.Hi,
I recently sort of got in touch with someone who wants to prepare for singlehanded mast climbing while at sea. Did you ever heard about such experience? I presume its extremly rare.

I am not asking how. Just asking if anyone heard about such event
