Anybody who was taught by Mark in and around the Solent a few years ago either on Foreign Exchange (UFO 34) which we jointly owned together for several happy years or Meniscus ( Roberts 45) herself will be pleased to know he rode out the wave ok and reports no damage to him or Meniscus herself.
He says only those yachts on local moorings or inadquately anchored appeared to have been washed ashore but damage ashore is very bad along the immediate coastal strip. No signs of any relief or foreign aid as yet where he is.
