Try Bamptons on the Bitterne side of Northam Bridge (I think it's Vespan boatyard) in Southampton. Very helpful and know what they are talking about when it comes to boats

There has been some postings recently both here and at the Wooden Boat magazine forum about the poor quality of Robins marine ply. Suggest you do some searching. I have bought from Brynzeel (spelling) a few years ago and the quality was very good indeed, and they give guarantee! Expensive, though.

I know there has been a lot of flack - but I have found Robbins ply and wood reliable and good quality. They have always been helpful and you do get what you pay for.
