About to purchase our first boat. The survey has been done and its has been recommended that we get the engines and the drives serviced. Any recommendations around the Solent area of providers of quality and value?

Another reliable chap is Paul Terry, PT Marine, Based in Lymington, he used take care of my Volvo AD31's whilst in Hythe Marina.

Volvo Paul is the only engineer I use and recommend, what he doesn't know about engines isn't worth knowing!!

Engineers will travel where the work is and you will find they will still be competitive, I travel 2-300 miles sometimes if thats where I am needed all for a day or twos work, sometimes abroad.

I work in both the midlands and the solent areas from Brighton to pooles areas, also abroad if req.
i work usually 2 days a week in the solent and the rest elsewhere, though im still down here now, port solent and gosport tomorrow.

used to employ a female mechanic... she had trouble getting underneath the cars... still works for us though.

Sorry I didnt want to drive into London, ive been before , parking was a nightmare there, I dont think you would have liked my travel costs either so didnt want to offend you by offering to come.
