Marina Pictures

This is a piccie of Rhu Narrows. Yes there is a person standing to the left of the light fishing. Just a thought that our nuclear deterrent glides past not 20' from where he stands.

Yes, that's great. Not just marinas either. Shows the channel to the boatyard very well, pity my boat's too far down the creek to see.

Ireland is particularly well covered, fantastic! I can see the boat in one picture and the car in another /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Map view, left hand side - the magnifying glass. When you change to photo view its stays with you, and also to top left hand view of photo screen – see the icons - click on them. With hand tool you can drag the map all the way round the globe if your fancy takes you. Clever.

Yup. I hadn't zoomed in enough. Still nothing on the Fylde coast or the lakes though.

and now I look closer "Hull and Grimsby are both there, as is South Ferriby" are actually locks, not marinas.

It seems to hold only 6 marinas for Scotland, and of these only Kip and Port Edgar would normally be thought of as such. The others are single pontoons or club moorings. I wonder how they selected?

There will be thousands of marine locations going live in the coming weeks and months. I saw your website postings on my website visitor stats and thought it would be a good idea to see if we could help bring you and your fellow boaters up to speed on what is happening with marinas.com. All the major marine targets have been photographed, and are waiting for their final naming to go live covering all of the UK and Ireland and the rest of Western Europe. Thanks, and enjoy the site.
