Marina fees

Dean and Redyhoff have just emailed outlying their new loyalty scheme for annual berth holders.
Basically, half of April's fees can be put towards other marina services or carried over to next year to be offset against next year's berth contract.
They will review again in May if need be.

Many Thanks D&R, much appreciated.

LYH are doing their bit to help berth holders just received my renewal contract and the charge has increased by over 4%

I've not received anything.

Ok I'm a BERTH holder in a premier marina on a dry stack. Whilst I fully understand that they are still providing a service by storing my boat, I cannot visit and they are not providing a full service because they cannot put my boat in the water. I think it's fair to ask for a reduced price as they are providing a reduced service. I fully accept and understand that I still should pay a lot I do also believe that I should get a reduction in the price.

The wording is such:

This month, all our annual customers will receive an automatic credit on their account, equivalent to 50% of their April berthing fees. So you will be paying half price for your berthing this month. In a few week’s time, we will review the scheme, and if we think it’s the right thing to do, we can “top up” again in May if the lockdown continues.

You will be able to use this saving over the next 12 months to put towards a range of services, including boatyard lifting and storage, boatcare services, or to put towards next year’s berthing fees.

In other words you will be paying full wack but over the next 12 months you credited back pro-rata 50% of your berthing cost towards any other marina facility cost such as lift in - outs etc. It's a gesture, not a price reduction. SO unless you plan on lifting your boats in and out several times a month within 12 months you will not realise any of it until next year if you are still there (Roy plans a move)
I would have said so earlier but I was hoping Roy might spring some beer funds at his windfall. Sadly not. So it gives me a small measure of pleasure to once again disabuse him of any joy. :p

It’s very worthwhile for people like me who plan to renew their mooring at their D+R marina for next year. Any bit off next year’s fees is very welcome.

I think you will find they will only take 50% of your berth rate, don’t listed to the river rat , he has weil’s disease .

? :ROFLMAO: Lets get back to anodes shall we?
