Thanks Whooper, yes I’m definitely going to extend the aft bar to make the back of the canopy more vertical. I’d love to try to replicate the Trend Marine pram hood but I may just put two large openings that zip open and can be rolled up.

8mm rod 250mm stroke gas strut - GSSV8-250

that’s the model we have. One each side. There are probably better ones out there. I’ll try dig out a photo of how it’s fixed.
