I would like to make up a whisker pole from the separate parts. One thing I haven't been able to discover: how do you secure the end pieces to the length of aluminium tubing? Screws? Epoxy?

Machine screws, must cut threds in the end piece.
Remember to use duralac or simmilar to be able to take apart later.

Rivet guns aren't expensive, worth having for lots of wee spar-related jobs.
