Like most serious people looking for a boat - they have a list of wants and not wants ... they tick of as they look at a boat ...

But of course comes the boat that does not 'tick the boxes' and your brain goes mushy ... you just KNOW this is your boat regardless ....

How do I know ? Couple of months ago - it happened to me ...

I was happy enough to go for a HR Monsun ..... then saw the Conqubin ... took all of two minutes to decide she was to be mine.

Similar story.

Went to look at two other boats - both fell short of expectations.
Broker mentioned another boat he had on his books. Told him I'd seen her but she was out of my budget range.
Why don't you look at her anyway (since you've come all this way), and should you like her the owner is open to offers.
One hour and a low-ball offer later I had bought a boat.

My boat was also the last one I looked at, planning to leave the Netherlands. I was surprised how much I liked her.
