Made it to Guernsey finally

Excellent crossing this afternoon , bit snotty of Alderney but the race was flat , now tucked into Victoria marina off to look for a fish Restuarant .

Trip took us 4 hours 40 mins , yacht haven to Victoria marina ,
Leaving the needles

Alderney ,

The Alderney race was flat as a pancake an hour after slack water , neap tides and very little wind about .

Just pottering up to Victoria marina sorting fenders etc and the wacky races came flying past , G+T spilt everywhere

Excellent, now come out of the harbour ,turn right and keep going for a couple of hours

Thanks for posting. Great timing on the race, well done.

You must go to Herm while you are there, it is lovely. If not on your boat then get the ferry over.

Belay that instruction to turn right. Instead, turn left and pop up to Beaucette marina (approx 3nm). Not only the best seafood restaurant on the island, but a haven of peace and beauty....
