Lowrance HDS 8M Users

I have recently fitted a Lowrance HDS 8M to the boat.

Its great, wish I had bought a plotter earlier. I can passage plan in the office whilst I am meant to be working and upload. I have downloaded my trails and re-lived them in the office whilst I am meant to be working.

However I have hit a slight snag, my Father has stolen my boat, and he has the technical nouse of a goldfish. So I have been talking him through the plotter operation from the office whilst I am meant to be working.

But I cant remember where the option to save/download the routes/waypoints/trails to the memory card is. I can find it if I have the plotter in front of me but I dont, the Lowrance manual bears no resembalance to the current software release, and the user on the other end of the telephone is liable to push buttons and hope.

If anyone has a plotter handy or can remember off the top of their head cold you give me a pointer.

press the "Pages" key, then cursor left or right till you get the "Utilities" page - cursor down to the "Files" option and select that with the "Enter" key - you should get options to export routes, waypoints etc in a variety of formats.

Of course, Utilities/Files. Had completly forgotten, was trying Menu-settings.
