You'd be mad to buy chandlery stuff at LIBS as the prices are jacked up to pay for the stand costs. Don't know about anybody else but I go to boatshows to look at boats to get ideas for what I might like to buy in the future when they come on the secondhand market so its a bit disappointing when there are only 4 or 5 manufacturers there showing boats I want to see

I don't necessarily buy the chandlery items - just go to research - we have a shortage of good chandleries near us and I like to see things up close before I purchase.

We only look at boats when we are intending to buy one - looked at Southampton last year and signed on the dotted line. Have to admit that we did look at the SO44DS at LIBS - that will be our next upgrade, but not for a couple of years unfortunately...

Having visited it a few times already it is really worth a visit. Dont' miss it - you could regret it, there is lots to see. The best offer on the 2012 Reeds is at the Imray stand....
