Has anyone used this on a cast iron keel and if so how did they paint, fair and antifoul afterwards? Also can I get it in the UK?

Much better to have the keel grit blasted then epoxy painted to protect it from further corrosion. A needle gun would do the job, but a lot slower.

I did a steel skeg with a needle gun, then painted with several coats of Galvafroid paint. So far, after 2 years no sign of corrosion returning.

Fairing off can be done with ordinar fillers compatible with the paint system used.

I used rust converter, after needle gunning, on Mariposa's keel last summer. I don't think it was a Loctite product though. After using the rust converter I put on 3 or 4 coats of primer then antifouling. I said I'd let the forum know how it performed and I'll be doing that next month I expect.
