thanks for your information Heather and I are hoping to move aboard full time very soon
we spend 80% on board but wonder if a motor boat is the right choice however we plan the european waterways.

A Motorboat is a good choice.
We have a 33 foot single engine Aquastar and have just got back having spent 3.5 years and 5,500 miles living on it.
French inland waterways via Paris to the Med. France, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco, Italy, Monaco them back via Canal du Midi.
Best time of our lives.

Hi. I can think of three or four lovebirds on motorists, a number of which have little boating knowledge when they started but love the life. They are all very happy with their.

Personally I think choice of boat is key, as it is for any liveaboard. For me, the fuel bills on a large planing bot would be a problem and ibwould be looking at something that was more fuel efficient.

Good luck.
