Liveaboard boat for the Med

Planning to stop working and to retreat to the Med for some years on a motorboat I am thinking of Princess 45 or Carver Voyager 450 etc. Tarquin 475 might also be excellent but am cautious with sea-keeping by following/quartering seas.

Any advice ?
