Very nice indeed!!! Love to see the wooden GB's at sea & well kept...

Just out of curiosity ... what sort or Radar Signal forwards do you get from the placement on the last picture ?? or is it a aft facing radar only ??

It'll probably work better once it is back on the mast, which minutes before was lying horizontal on the side deck.

Sorry ... bad joke as I forgot the smilie....

If I remember correctly, your 'mast' spent a considerable amount of time at the horizontal.

I suspected you were joking and deleted the 200 words I had written about the panic this afternoon to get the mast up before the marina staff knocked off for the day.

Yup.... you're right there ... a bit of bad weather you see... :( ... cost at approx £9.5K, but Insurance company was very good.... :)

....glad that it was not misunderstood and taken in the spirit it was intended...... :D

I was wondering why Tom hadn't posted after seeing his beloveds nether regions exposed to the view of all kinds of perverts, but he has just texted me and is still 'beavering' away with the ol' gal.

Ahhh ! Back home now and knackered........ Still got som varnish and painting to do but she is afloat and will be able to go to sea without paint and varnish if needs be.

Major, true to his word came down with a bottle or two to help the thirsty, but I had to go and get some red paint for the boot strip, was looking forward to a second bottle when I got back but he had vanished along with the crisps to work up the thirst. :)

Blue smoke eh ! well cold Fords tend to do that, it disappears once warmed up, I wouldnt dare try and compete with Mucky she blanks out the Straits. :(

It's good to be afloat again although I do have a little more work to do, thanks for the compliments but it's now time to sleep and get a bit more energy to finish the job.

Tom

PS theres loads of paint drips on the windows....... I wonder if the Admiral will volunteer to clean them...... again.:)
