Hi everyone does anyone know how the life raft trials went in Dorset? The RNLI held them in a wave pool and fired off 16 different make life rafts and I was wondering did anyone else hear about this? I have heard some horror stories but before committing myself I just thought I'd ask the question.
Thanks everyone.
Rach.

I'm told the report is due to be finalized later this week, so should be available in the near future. Should make interesting reading. Apparently the best on test was one of the cheaper rafts.

I don't think the SeaGo will get a good report it failed to inflate. Apologies to all those with a SeaGo but Cosalt are the UK agents so what did you expect!!!!!
The SeaSafe did rather well but I can't wait for the reports its going to be an eye opener!!

The first ever Rachsmith post was very suspicious. It must be either Seasafe or Norwest Marine.

Hi Guys, I am not a SeaSafe or Norwest Marine specialist though I do own a SeaSafe and have had a Plastimo looked at by Norwest Marine. I thought the SeaSafe was made on the Isle of Wight thats how specially adept I am on life rafts. I am sure the SeaGo is a good life raft I only posted that as I nearly bought one!!!! Thanks for the conspiracy theory though I'm off to turn myself in as being the gunman on the grassy nall now. Happy Sailing!
