life raft rails

we want to remove the liferaft rails on the coach roof of a rival 32 are they fastened with screws or through bolted they have a slotted head made of brass and are flat headed.

there are hand rails, but are they what you mean ?


Any chance of a picture ?

Try unscrewing one. If it's a machine screw, then it's through bolted to a nut on the inside. If it's a self tapped screw, then it doesn't go all the way through.
