I have an Avon inflatable boat and have to have license stickers on it. The boat is constructed of hypalon material. The stickers fall off my boat, last time I used it I taped them on for temporary use. Is there an adhesive I can use for them? I've decided it would be best to paint my license numbers on, what type of paint should I use? Thanks for your help.

The paint we use on our inflatable is called "Liquid Letters" by Polymarine Ltd (www.polymarine.com) which describes iteself as 'liquid marine hypalon paint'. We got ours from Topcat Signs (3a High St Much Wenlock, Shropshire, TF13 6AA Tel 01952 728522). Topcat will also produce you a stencil for your lettering/numbering on your inflatable.

We have no connection with either company (except as satisfied customers).

Had my tender's letters and no's done by a sign shop for about £7.00. He used 'banner vinyl' which is used for any flexible surface - ideal on my zodiac which is hypalon too. Roy

OK I should be able to find the paint for the numbers. However the license stickers must go on the sides near the bow. Any ideas on what to do?

I have an unwanted small tin of white Liquid Letters available for free if you (or anyone else?) wishes to send me a pm.
