Boatlamps are good. Boatlamps - Marine LED bulbs and replacement lamps for all boats the owner used to post here. Also found them very helpful over the phone for any query.

Personally, no. You could always contact Boatlamps - Marine LED bulbs and replacement lamps for all boats and see what they say about supplying the EU. I'm just a very happy customer who has converted the majority of my lights to LED. The LED bulbs they supply to convert maglites are very good as well.

I've used - Boatlamps - Marine LED bulbs and replacement lamps for all boats
Numerous times, their LEDs are well constructed, true colours and they do not
Overestimate their intensity. Not cheap but worth the investment.

eBay. But seriously recommend getting warm white good quality ones. Otherwise sitting in your cabin at night, can be like sitting in the dentist chair or a hospital…not a nice light at all from the bright white cheap ones

Yes warm white all the way, I don't want to be sat in a surgery.

Be very careful of cheap LED's !
All LED's work at between 1.5v and 3.5v and so have voltage reducers inbuilt to convert from your 12/24v to their working voltage. Some of those reducers can cause quite bad interference to your instruments and radio. Generally, UK or EU approved ones are OK - Chinese, not so much.

Bought some of those cheap chinese Ebay 12V LEDs years ago to replace the 5 original halogen lamps in my saloon. MR11 ?
Colour output.."Eye strain Gloomy Yellow" what ever that is in Angstroms.

They are all still working perfectly and have to date been unable to detect any interference, with anything important on the boat.
The nearest lamp is about 1 metre away from radio equipment.
May well change them soon as their light output is pretty dim compared to the latest more efficient versions.
The 240v ones at home, do on the other hand definately emit interference .

Had loads from ebay and generally go for the cheapest, never had a problem, home or boat. I always go for the most powerful available, basic ones are not usually dimmable , I am just upgrading boat to 6 watt dimmable at about £1 each , warm white.

I've replaced all mine using these guys.

Bedazzled Protected LED Lights 10-30v ideal for 12V 24v environments

Slightly cheaper than Boatlamps, same spec etc, and had no problems so far. Their premises are on the Grand Union canal, and they specialise in marine lighting. Speedy delivery too.

I just emailed Adrian at boatlamps to see what replacement bulbs I needed. Within minutes got a reply. Bulbs now on order. ??
