Definitely not a fact, only your opinion. When you hit your thumb it doesn't have any effect on me therefore it can't be an irrefutable fact. In my opinion it doesn't hurt, you're just play acting.

Nice one!............However, I am happy to give you the chance to alter your opinion, anytime, I have hammers of various types, you can choose which one I wack your thumb with, then I can watch you play acting! That is a wonderful bit of prose and logic.

I fear though that for some people the connections between hammer, thumb and pain are very far from being indistupable facts. There are those that would dispute that there is any connection between the three.

I myself believe that the earth is flat

therefore the fact that the earth is round is disputable... for those of us with a childlike and simple approach to life that is

It is the reason why I am only circumnavigating the UK. I fear that to head off west in the hope that at some stage you will eventually return to the same place - only approaching from the East seems to me to be a wholly unlikely and thoroughly disputable fact - for simple minded people only of course

The earth isn't flat at all, it is a cube! Ah I see where you got the idea that it's flat from, cos a cube has four flat sides, so you must be living on one of those sides, ergo, you think the earth is flat! Which side are you on? Or should that be whose side are you on, I might know somebody who is also on that side, or your side if you like. One can hear evidence for my assertion every day, people say "Who's side are you on" or "Ah, taking sides are you" or "You should have been on my side, where were you?"

Another demonstration of my assertion is that you are not on the side of the mobos, this has clearly been the case for some time, I can tell that you miss them quite a lot because you are always starting threads about them, so really I am asking if you are not on the side of the mobos, who's side are the mobos on, they aren't on my side, I never see any, except the odd trawler, or big ship that comes for a visit, but I never see any of those peculiar white shiny plastic floating bungalows, that you love so much. I look forward to your comments, and hopefully you can clarify the situation for me?

I did once view a Van de Stadt Trotter that had a Briggs and Stratton inboard. Now there's luxury for you!
