Landed on my boat yesterday, it put up a hell of a scrap and weighed in at a tad over 21lb, my arms are still aching!! (now what were you all thinking I was on about?) That one was the best of 3 we had , we also had some nice Conger and a few Whiting so not a bad day out.The afternoon drew in very quickly and I was tempted to stay out until the last lock, but not having been out in the dark on my boat before I decided to call it a day and come in, I guess I will have to do it someday but somehow yesterday my nerve went and I bottled out!!

Till next time
Julian

Nice fish - glad you got out.

We managed a trip Sunday too and apart from dogs, whiting and pout landed a Smoothie and a Pollack both around 9lb as well as loosing 7 fish (6 to tackle failures/trace cuts)! Unfortunately I wasn't good enough to hook any of these /forums/images/icons/smile.gif so I donn't know it I would have fared better.
