I left Whitehills yesterday morning and there were loads playing around the boat. Got the camera out and thought I had good video of them, only to find 'Picture Error'. Inverness for a few days (work calls) and then off north. Quite expensive mooring here - almost south coast prices. Aberdeen cheapest so far (£23 for up to five days - bargain, if you are happy cleaning the boat afterwards and can make do with no facilities), Whitehills nicest (also next cheapest) and Port Edgar the sniffiest (wanted me to put two lorry batteries back on the boat, when I asked where I could leave them for recycling) but with great views of the bridges.

With 1.8m draft, the east coast is not the easiest area to potter about in. It looks as though only Helmsdale and Wick are available to me.

You will also get into Lybster no problem.

Are you sure? It will be springs when I am around there and it looks as though - from Reeds - that there is only 1.2m at the w side of pier. While I mention Reeds, where do they get their prices from? Every one they give has been at least 25% lower than the actual dues charged.

No problem at all. The inner harbour has also just been dredged. Fine museum there, Waterlines. Showers and toilets are at the museum. The village is a wee walk up the brae, but also well worth a visit.

I thought I saw you rounding Chanonry just about mid day, right size of boat with a red headsail (furled and motoring) but when I got close it was the wrong boat name.

Ah so your going north now. Have to wait until you return later to explore the Moray firth in more detail to meet you then.

We took some friends out for for a sail and to see the dolphins today and they loved it.

Working for me earlier also. Probably changed a day or so ago as it can take a day for the new nameserver info to propogate round the web. Hopefully this can be easily sorted through 123 (they're part of the same group as Mesh Digital). In this case it looks like the domain expired and their(123's) default is to try and make some money from the old domain.

Let's hope Mesh Digital are not barstewards who go around making profit by registering recently expired domain names then selling them back to the previous registrants who have simply forgotten to renew them...
