I left Whitehills yesterday morning and there were loads playing around the boat. Got the camera out and thought I had good video of them, only to find 'Picture Error'. Inverness for a few days (work calls) and then off north. Quite expensive mooring here - almost south coast prices. Aberdeen cheapest so far (£23 for up to five days - bargain, if you are happy cleaning the boat afterwards and can make do with no facilities), Whitehills nicest (also next cheapest) and Port Edgar the sniffiest (wanted me to put two lorry batteries back on the boat, when I asked where I could leave them for recycling) but with great views of the bridges.
With 1.8m draft, the east coast is not the easiest area to potter about in. It looks as though only Helmsdale and Wick are available to me.
You will also get into Lybster no problem.
