Anyone have any experience in bleeding a kad44 injector pump?
I changed the primary racor (complete new unit) and when reinstalling it had an air leak (didnt know at the time obviously but do now)
So it fired up instantly and ran for about 20-30seconds (on the fuel in pump I assume) then conked out.... I noticed the input to lift pump was dry and fixed that.... Happy days I thought....
Bled the filter on engine through and have cranked for probably 2 hours on and off with the injectors cracked or not.... It fires and seems like it wants to go.... But then nothing and recrack injectors and lots or air....and bubbles
I must have repeated 20times.... Still lots of air....
What can I try next.... Doesn't seem to be any bleed screws on the pump...
I have also tried with a fuel can I to pump to rule out anything downstream of engine...
