Kad 42 valve clearances

Can anyone help with this, i know clearances but what about which to adjust while others are down, and whats the best way to turn the lump over slowly to do this?

not worked on a kad42, but assuming it is a straight engine ,if not V look at the valves & divide the engine into 2, so for a 4 cyl engine

valve nos

12345678

when 1 is down check 8
2 7
3 6
4 5
5 4

etc until done

works for 6 & 8 cyls as well.

as for turning around, spanner on crankshaft nut?
