Nope no tax completely offshore. Remember I was in banking for 11 years and 5 of those compliance too so I am au fait with what can and cant be done.

Dom, I was talking UK tax. The rules here are maybe worse tha you think, worse than Gsy anyway! For a UK resident, you pay UK income tax on the interest income but no deduction for any FX loss on the capital.

(ok, if you're non-domiciled in the UK then different answer, but we dont need to go there).

PS spoke to your mate Andrew Harrison. He sold me a year's worth of Soltron at good price. Nice chap, he even despatched the stuff before I'd paid him

Dont speak to Andrew much these days as we are doing our own thing and progresssing on some other matters which are looking very big.
