Just spoke to Depsol as I'm crossing to Guernsey on Sunday, However he says I cant take any from
his cos you cant take it on a plane and we are flying back.
I would be interested in obtaining some, Depsol say about a litre per 5000 litres of fuel, I've got two x 100
gallon tanks (100 gallons 4550 litres) therefore need two litres. Send me a PM.
Your maths is a bit dodgy ;-) 100 galls is 455 litres, not 4550. A normal 1/2 litre bottle of solly will be fine, will last you ages. You can get it by next-day mail order for £30 from the Solly dealer in Christchurch, search recent posts (in the last month) for their contact info
Sorry about maths must be getting old too many 0000000 and me a surveyor among other things
Thought you said it coud'nt be posted cos its inflammable ? Aslo Is'nt it VAT free in Guernsey?
Yes but what the post man dont know dont hurt him howevr, I / my company is not prepared to be blamed for a fire in the post HQ and all they find in the ashes is the remains of a Soltron bottle. Plus I deal with my local clients who buy it after I have sorted their prob from a chandlery or FIL. So you see I dont make money from Soltron of this forum. I even swopped 2 tube bottles for 2 measuring bottles for Piers when he was over last year.
Sold in retail outlets in Guernsey for £21 a half litre.
If anybody is coming to Lagos, Portugal, could they smuggle me some in there hold baggage, 1 litre would do or even 1/2 litre, please, I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms, which is unusual seeing as I've never used it!!!!
