Correct. She appeared in Oban some time in the mid 1990's trying to compete with the West Coast livaboard charter fleet. Red stripey sails so was nicknamed the pyjama boat. Lasted a season and disappeared - to Harwich I suspect ever since.

There are mentions online of Beckford being in Oban on charter in 1991, and in Eriskay in 93/94. Apparently she is/was owned by an ex Harwich Harbour pilot called Brian Waters who lived in Dovercourt.

And a bit more random info. Beckford was also the inspiration for the fictional vessel HMS Beckfoot (also called Hispaniola and Pride of Macau) in the "Strong Winds" trilogy of children's books by Julia Jones, and features on the cover of her book "Ghosting Home".
