I am just coming back to sailing after a 30 year gap. I am looking at a jouet 760 and wonder if anyone could share their experiences of this type of boat?
Thanks

I have just sold my 680. Lovely piece of equipment. Not hard to see why they went out of business, as they are well built , with good features that are expensive to manufacture. Sails well too.

We had a 760, "Mutineer" until a couple of years ago. A great boat to sail, handled like a dinghy. A bit tender but ok if you reef in good time. Mutineer was the fin keel version, I have no experience of the drop keel model. A bit tight on board for more than two adults for any lenght of time however ideal for a small family. We sailed the south coast from Brighton to Scilly and made several trips to Brittany.

Great boat - dont pay over the odds.

Good sailing

I am noy the current owner of the Jouet 760 Mutineer. She is up in North Shields now. She is my first boat, and I am getting to grips ith cruising the north east coast.
