Jabsco Sensor Max 14 Water Pump

Our Jabsco Sensor Max 14 Water Pump is playing up. It sounded strange yesterday and today tripped the panel fuse. It runs when the trip button on the fuse is reset but it no longer senses when the taps are turned off and just continues to run.

They are now obsolete. Does anybody happen to know anywhere that still stocks them at a reasonable price or can anyone suggest a suitable alternative sensor pump.

I assume that the sensor can‘t be fixed?

The sensor on my pump (not Jabsco but same type) went. You can get a small inline pressure switch from Whale that’s easy to add in place of original switch.

Square D adjustable pressure switch will sort it.

We have a Sensormax pump that, fingers crossed, is still running fine. It does not use an on/off pressure switch as suggested above but automatically adjusts the pump speed according to the water flow rate. Sadly I have not seen any equivalent on the market.

Thanks for the various suggestions and links. The internet at our swinging mooring has been virtually non-existent all day but has just improved in the last hour. I will follow them up.

Did you ever go ahead with this. Im in the same boat now, and need to replace my sensor max. Be interested to know how the Seaflo pump worked out.
