I\'ve had a dream
If the UK's future problem is to be retired people, not contributing and living to long, what can be done to get the useless buggers to stay at work longer and paying tax.
Clearly we can reduce the return on savings.
Then we can reduce pension incomes and tax what is payed out.
Capital gains tax on house sales should narrow their options.
Depressing the stock market is essential.
Monies spent on Public Services must be spent on capital projects, buildings and equipment, not wages.
Hang on this isn't a dream, it's happening.
You'll guess from this lot that I've had my pension statement in todays post. I can afford to retire provided I die first.
