Marina atmosphere is great. Lots of newish boats and pretty private. Security is great and location excellent. Very close to one ot two pretty good eateries and about 25 minutes walk to the old town which is fab.
Supermarkets are a bit of a problem, mainly due to the sheer quantity of water, soft drinks, beer and wine we are getting through. Biggest one is 20 minutes walk but do next day delivery for €12. Closest one is 10 minutes away but up a hill. No convenience stores or bakeries across the road.
As for the 6 lane highway, it's a total non issue. Can't even hear it onboard and much quieter at night.
