We used to berth in Chichester - lovely marina. However, as most of our boating is in the Solent area (and further West), the long haul out to the West Pole beacon became a chore. Now at Port Solent - still a bit of a drag getting to the harbour entrance, but at least the Solent is in front of you. Chi great to visit though.
