I've been in the UK for ten years now and was just thinking to myself that nearly all my English mates are getting a bit on the side and I am not /forums/images/icons/frown.gif. What subject in your schooling covers "having an affair"?

No idea! Most of my mates...aren't. Or, very very discreet. Mind you, this is one in the eye for that ole bagage French prime minister woman eh? I love the idea of foreigners coming to the uk hoping to emulate our liberated lifestyle.

But, are you an inveterate fidget anyway, perhaps? You've moved to another country, and now plan to try alternative partners. As barryh says, you may be being fooled by lots of brits bragging about this or that, but in practice it's total tosh.

You should try Norway, the girls here are stunning and crazy about 'English' guys as apparently we know how to talk to a girl i.e. charm her, whereas the average, Norwegian or Swede is clueless, unless he is drunk then he is useless. Their words not mine, and I have been told this all over Scandinavia by dozens of women. And they are very hot to trot so be warned!

Have to agree about Norway and Norwegian girls. Had frequent and quite suprising offers while living there. Though in the States, a nice British accent goes a long way too... (so does a kilt)
Now I am back here I get nary a second glance. Course I don't want girls throwing themselves at me any more, honest.
As for having a bit on the side, I am too scared of SWMBO to even look at another girl!
