Actually, I don't think he is....

He's the spiritual leader of the Roman Catholic Church, which isn't a catholic institution, so while he may be a Catholic, I don't see how he can be a catholic (catholic = universal , general or all encompassing).

Dire warnings about meddling with things I don't understand come into play here, but I'm away for the w/e, so fight it out amongst yourselves /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
