It's belting it down here in South-West France.
This interesting cloud overlay plug-in for Google Maps shows why . . .

Rained a huge amount here at Port St Louis (mouth of the Rhone, Camargue) in the night (second night in a row) but now just blowing a hoolie. Forecast remains dire. It is pretty warm because it's a strong southerly.

Fed up with the racket and the way the baot twitches in the cradle for really strong gusts.

Thunder & lightening last night + hail stones!! Good Huh, it's only the South of France in the 'almost' summer.
At present yet more rain of the very wet sort. Forecast to continue for a few days yet.
Abigail, with us the wind is SE'ly!

Has been beautifull weather here for the last 3 weeks. Convertible top down, roll out the motorbike or take to the boat type weather. Somebody is laughing at me as I have been working 7 day weeks and long hours.

A word of warning to all who live near me:

I stop what I am doing on Friday and have the whole weekend off - its bound to rain.

No, it will be glorious. I've been working 7 day weeks, and will be for next two or three weeks

Difference is, I'm in the UK

Got an early day off, at 14:30 on Bank Holiday Monday, at had to thread my way home through floods.

Its 34c and sunny in Kefalonia, set fair and hot for the next week at least. This year I shall not use the aircon unless it gets above 40c, not because I give a monkeys about global warming blah blah blah, cause I dont! but it do cost a lot /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
