Is it me

I know it should be, but I was just thinking the opposite- bit of a pain really because I can't go to bed until it's dark. Perhaps I'll just look for the moonrise. We've had a hearty beef stew and some mulled wine tonight.

No it isn't. If you check the times of sunset you'll see it stays constant till next Monday, then sets one minute earlier on Tuesday. The "longest day" is a bit of an illusion.

I have long been an admirer of your ability to see in the dark as you so ably demonstrated last year at Tigha na Troosers so, should it indeed be getting darker, your vision is unlikely to be impaired. Perhaps dear Heart could serve an extra carrot or two just in case ....

On the other hand, for all we know you might have excessivly imbibed at the Fleetwood RNLI HQ (partly, in guilt at the number of fivers you owe them) and are presently closer to the ground than normal from which aspect things could look somewhat darker ....

Hopefully, I've covered all the bases here

I dunno. I was under my boat checking out the prop last night at 2235 and could still see without a torch!

Fantastic moon though wasn't there?!!

Gotta float her out of the dock this evening, so hope it stays nice and light till late!

Cheers Jerry
