Exactly, and “recreation” is not defined in the regulations so it will be given its ordinary dictionary meaning: “an activity done for enjoyment when one is not working”.
Consequently, you can now visit you boat for whatever reason you choose if the purpose of you visit is for recreation (deriving enjoyment from the activity). And... THERE IS NO RESTRICTION ON HOW FAR YOU TRAVEL!
Also, you can visit your boat on your own, with members of your household or on your own with one other person from another household (provided you don’t go inside the boat).
