Irish cruising guides/sailing directions

Starting to plan trip to NW Scotland from Plymouth roughly late April to end August. Will (probably) go up east coast on way up (Kilmore Quay to Rathlin) but I’m aiming to come down west coast on the return trip.
Any recommendations on cruising guides?
I’ve posted essentially same query on YM Scuttlebut but seems more activity here (although thanks for suggestion received so far)

I think you will find the same folks on both parts of the forum, so perhaps better stick with a single thread not two

I like the fernhurst cruising companion series. I have all for the south coast and brittany and they are very good. Robert Wilcox collated the ireland one.

Arklow Newlyn is a good option. Kilmore Quay has a good fish and chip shop but is a bit out of the way. See it on your return.

The Irish Cruising Club Sailing Directions books, one does South and West Coast and the other does East and North. Irish Cruising Club Publications Pilotage and Cruising Guides for Ireland
