IOW High Speed Ferry Collision....

On the Meridian New this morning they reported that one of the High Speed ferries that travels between Southampton and Cowes had engine failure. They showed pictures of a 36ftplus yacht stuck between the two hulls. Pretty scary for the sailer!

Anyone have any more info on this.

The report I heard said that the yacht was moored / at anchor and the ferry hit it when it lost the engines. The passangers had to be 'rescued' and were brought ashore before the ferry was finally towed in.
