I think the most effective approach would be to backup your low cost online advert with a conventional PBO Magazine classified advert.

There are too many sites hosting secondhand boat sales for your single online ad to reach most potential buyers.

I forgot to say the magazine ad should point to the internet page where you can say a lot more about your boat.

I bought my Parker 275 through the website associated with that OTHER sailing magazine S....... T..... and was able to get a good deal several weeks before the magazine itself printed the ad. I guess the keen buyers will be scanning the sites regularly waiting for their choice to come up, I know I was!
