I can only suggest you try Timage. Huge supplier of marineware to the UK boat building industry.
probably a pita trying to source it on their website but you can give them a call and see once they’re back from SIBS. Might be that you have to buy a handle assy though.

Thanks for the link....but I found a new lock at my local chandlers...it cost €79 but it would cost more in shoe leather to source just the spring...tomorrow (I mean later today) I will spend the day on the water, and install the lock when I have a spare moment
