Finally, (in three weeks time) moving back onboard after a break of ten years.
I have had a very reasonable quote from Haven Knox Johnston Insurance (considering 12 months in commission) and wondered if anyone can report back on their service/problems.

Be very carefull with wording...we insured with pantaneus, tey told us they would insure us for atlantic crossing because there were only two of us onboard, so when we arrived in Trindad we told them we wanted to extend the policy to the Caribbean and they got upset because we hadn't told them we'd left! then they said tell us when your back in Europe...so told them when we arrived in The Azores (which is Europe as far as I'm concerned) and continued to have a lovely trip to Spain France and back home, only to be told when we had a small claim that we weren't insured as as far as they were concerned The Azores weren't Europe and we should have called them from Spain!
All this time we were paying the Caribbean price + atlantic crossing extra's (we came back with 4 so they covered that) Which was more than Europe rate.
