Insurance between Pantaenius or Tide

Hi as anyone come accross Tide as insurance policy provider.

They are slightly cheaper than the well known company and just wondering if anyone has made a claim with them and what hey are like, there excess is around half so looks quite good but until you claim you never know!

Sounds like Tide is an insurance broker as opposed to an actual insurer so you might want to obtain a copy of policy to find out who’s providing coverage. By way of comparison craftinsure is a broker with cover underwritten by Zurich I seem to recall.

I took a look again and it says its Tide but underwritten by lloyds of London so looks like provide the cover, this is via Topsail?

So cover is either by a Lloyds syndicate or a number of syndicates as opposed to being provided by a company like Zurich. You might want to ask the broker where any claims are handled . Pants used to place cover with insurers like Allianz don’t know if they use Lloyds syndicates though .
