The kings arms is not easy to find, but very handy for jimi who didn't turn up cos he was busy or summink. So we found stingo and sailbad and philmarks (i think) in the pub, and we had a very civilised conversation, can't quite remember what it was all about, but anyway sailbad and stingo all made their way home promptly and there was certainly no late-night drinking at all, and the reason that sailbad won't get home till midday is cos of a problem with a train.

Well I'll try and make it! To make up for my inability to rearrange a rearranged meeting! The Kings Arms is a cracking wee pub is it not though? Do you want any puddings brought back from Yorkshire. Another thought I had is that this Forum is restricted, should we ask for it to be made open to all, what do you think?

Re: Is it restricted?

<<Which is a god thing >>

Ken, if you are hoping this is a regular religious event, complete with collection plate, please don't come because you will be disappointed.

Re: members only private forums

It is restricted, i think. Essentially, whoever asks kim for the forum is also t
he gatekeeper with kim as e-bouncer and they email kim to say oh all right let x and x and x in the forum and soon enough, he does. Kim probably used a list from another private forum to kick it off. The first private forum we had was last year bnout octoberish for the party, and it was excellent, wide open deck spaces all with brand spanking new teak. Unfortunately it got canned for a couple of weeks til they worked out how to make the messages here *not* turn up on the adverty home pages as they do for the riff-raffy public scummy forums which franckly need a bit of a wash down.
