Well at least the trilight was a goodun . The port n stbd would do Forbsie a treat .
What a condensing pile of rubbish spouted about the transfer:-
" As a condition of the sale, Chelsea warranted that they would adhere to the Data Protection Act and can only use the personal information passed to them in accordance with the terms under which it was originally collected from members - these can be viewed under the privacy statements at the foot of the forum homepage."
The privacy statement that IPC have totally ignored -- so why should Chelsea be any different ?????
What the devil is that supposed to mean ?
----------------------------------------------
"Following the transfer to Chelsea, if you no longer wish to be a member of the Classic Boat Forum you can opt out by emailing oliver@chelseamagazines.com with “Opt Out” in the subject line"
Personally I think we should all opt out now as a show of contempt for the action taken with out consent, ( by all means sign up with Chelsea if you so wish after all it should be your choice !!)
-------------------------------------------------
"We expect the transfer to take place in the coming days."
Still no request for consent !!
For those that think I am going over the top just think --- this is the thin end of the wedge and if allowed to take place without complaint - what next ? just ask the Germans about that !
I've already opted out. I don't really care that much, but don't really want to be registered with a username and password on a site I won't use.
Pee outside my jeans.Extra 4"! What would you do with a 5" willy!!?
wow, calm down its not the end of life as we know it !!!
Well being well known for posting loads of drivel anyway, I seem to have found a loophole in the system here, which allows me to edit any post made since I started posting drivel
For those of you that don't want your posts to be moved to the new forum you could search the classics forum for all your posts and systematically delete them.
I am not too bothered about the new Classic Boat Magazine and it's owners setting up a new forum with a BLANK PAGE and a permanent invite link to join could be put on the YBW forum header page they are welcome to and I will probably go and have a look, may even join it.
BUT WHAT I DON'T WANT IS TO LOSE THIS FORUM FROM THIS WEB SITE AND ALL THE POSTED INFO THAT IS ON HERE TO SOMEWHERE ELSE.Why can't IPC just leave it under their OWN NEW NAME on here as it is.
