Still suffering from 'lockdown in Wales, so thought ideal time to have a go my 'boat shed' and sort out the bits and pieces I don't want anymore, they can go on the ybw for sale column.
So what happened? Oh! I might just need this, I think I'll keep this it's always useful to have a spare, and that waterproof plug and connector that I bought for the last boat? Well I have been thinking about fitting a second 12v outlet in the cockpit so better keep them.
An hour later......I have two items that I will definitely sell but everything else has gone back into the various containers or on to the shelves, OK I have managed to use up an hour of lockdown time, but my original plan of collecting a quantity of items for sale and a much tidier boat shed has failed completely.
We still have at least another two weeks of lockdown so maybe I can try again.

Just about to go through a serious downsize, domestic and workshop.

I must be strong - not used for two years, its going.

First mate and I have become used to living in a one bedroom apartment in Wellington or on our Island Packet SP Cruiser.

And, we quite like it.

The big house currently under offer, moving to our three bed now free after rental. We are storing youngest sons furniture from his house sale until he decides where to go/what to do for his future. We have already sent stuff to auction, stuff we have lived with and enjoyed for well over forty years.

Its a tough job, but has to be done.

Good luck.

When we moved into th present house the previous owner had died and they had left everything in. It took over 6 months to clear out all the stuff that "wasn't any use to us" before I could clutter the garage up again. BUT I did also have a big sort out myself, not giving our boys a problem, when we passed on.
Funnily enough I am pleased that I had kept some engine bits, - just in case.
